The best way to promote your website is to register on a web directory or link directory. These directories on the web specialize in making connections to websites and listing the connections. A web directory differs from a search engine in that it does not display lists of web pages based on a chosen list of words entered by the searcher. It will list websites by their category and subcategory across the whole web rather than a single page or the search words. Most World Wide Web directories permit the website owners to submit their own categorizations which are reviewed by the editors for fitness.
